12. Write a letter to the editor of a newspaper (within 100 words) about the problems faced by commuters due to reckless driving of public vehicles.
To,
The Editor
The Statesman
4, Chowringhee Square
Kolkata 700001
I am writing to express my concern about the problems faced by commuters due to reckless driving of public vehicles. Every day, I witness buses, taxis and rickshaws violating traffic rules, speeding, overtaking and honking incessantly. This not only causes inconvenience and delays for other road users, but also poses a serious threat to their safety and well-being.
I urge the authorities to take strict action against the drivers who flout the law and endanger the lives of others. They should be fined, suspended or even revoked of their licenses if they repeat their offences. Moreover, the public transport system should be improved and regulated to ensure that it meets the demand and quality standards of the commuters.
I hope that you will publish my letter and draw the attention of the concerned officials to this pressing issue. Thank you for your time and consideration.
Sincerely,
A concerned citizen
